Have I...

...told you that I've started taking Russian classes for beginners? The unreasonable thing I wrote about a few posts ago. Now it's not a secret anymore...Figured it would be easier than Arabic, Japanese or Chinese :-) Although I once had an audio-tape called "Arabic in 30 days" at age eleven (obviously Ive been interested in it for a while) I'm still too chicken to actually learn it. Russian is cool, and I hope to learn a lot in one year.

Come on!! Arabic is cool also, and not that tough. We had trainees who can communicate almost everything in Arabic in less than a year.

Yeah, I've heard, and I'm sure that if I spent a whole year in your country I'd be able to learn a decent amount of Arabic too...:-) The thing is though that I had to choose according to the circumstances: I'm in Geneva for another year, and I signed up for a year-course, one lesson a week only (otherwise too expensive). So, I figured that under those circumstances I'd be able to learn more Russian than Arabic in a year :-s I have a hard head sometimes, and don't worry, Arabic is still on my TO-LEARN list :-D You never know, maybe I'll find a cool traineeship in Egypt? Hehe ;-)

That's cool! Have fun learning how to read and write in Cyrillic!

But how about your Tagalog/Filipino? ;-) Or your Ilocano?
