Colors and shades (I know these aren't colors, but you get the point) mostly worn since October:- Black
- Grey
- Silver
- White
- More black (I haven't worn so much black EVER. Not even when I was sixteen, arrived in the US for my exchange year and was told by my host-family to "Wear some color, girl!")
- And all the above paired with shades of yellow, pink, blue and green
Money spent three weeks ago on a haircut/color: CHF 170.- And this in a "Cut & Go", i.e. where it's supposed to be cheaper! Seriously, the scenario was hilarious. The guy who cut my hair was wearing those trance/techno-dancers' shoes (aka Buffalo's), had veeeerry looooong black hair, and his clothes were mainly gothic, very hard to explain. You could basically say he looked (and sounded and smelled) like a nicotine addicted male member of the Kelly Family, goth' version, with cigarette burns on his arms. Oh, and he accidentally smeared hair color on my face every now and then. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh. But hallelujah, the haircut turned out okay.
Since there haven't been any new episodes of Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty since what, November?, I have resorted to watching the following "series":
- My so-called life (Ah, the good ol' grungy mid-nineties)
- Germany's Next Top Model, Season 2 (who would have thought I'd watch this. But you know what? I LOVED it!)
- Secret Diary of a Call Girl
Last booK read (in October 2007. Yes, not much time or energy for reading these days):
- "The Yacoubian Building"(excellent read)
- I still haven't finished reading "The Life of Pi" .... I think the book became too religious after page 100, haha. See, I first thought the book was about science! Anyways, I WILL finish it, hopefully soon
Last movies watched:
- Seeing other people (Fantastic!)
- The Virgin Suicides
- Walk the line
- The Manchurian Candidate (2004 version)
- Mrs. Henderson presents (with a superb Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins)
- Kill Bill 1 & 2 (finally!)
- Eight Below (Don't laugh, it's a Disney film, but with yummy Paul Walker. He acts quite well in this flic, I must say. And I'm just a total sucker for animal movies)
