Hmmmmmm. Or "T comme Théodore!"

I've had a lot of those hmmmmm's crossing my mind this week, so I am very happy for the ME-TIME I had this weekend. After all the socializing the past two months, finally some time out just for myself, even though it involved lots of things you could call boring. You know what though? Boring was exactly the thing I needed! The boring part only came after the company Christmas party on Friday because that happening turned out to be a lot of fun (James Bond 007 was the theme, hehe). ! Who would have thought I could dance about three hours in those stilettos - the last time I wore them I had to remove them after just one dance (okay, it was after doing the Kalashnikov AIESEC dance, which involves loads of jumping ...). I guess it was a more strenuous exercise after all, because I couldn't get out of bed until 2.30pm on Saturday. After that, all I managed to do was watch episodes 10 of both Ugly Betty (Season 2) and Grey's Anatomy (Season 4) - I am up to date !! - go shopping for food, take a shower, and go back to bed. At 6.30pm. I felt really bad for my friends who tried to get me to join them for a night out, because I literally passed out. I must be getting old. At least I got up at 6.30am (!) today and got my chores done. Unfortunately, I didn't have loads of time for the badly needed self-reflection besides all the cleaning, doing laundry, dishwashing, yada yada, but it's all good.

A little anecdote on the side (Julia, are you reading this?) : I visited Julia on Thursday evening, had been a while....and the girl wanted to order pizza. Via internet. What a glooooorious idea. Folks: Don't EVER order pizza online at Domino's in Geneva. Unless you can wait THREE HOURS ! Yes, call us stupid, we could have just called some other pizza service, or cooked something, or whatever. But no, we wanted our PIZZA goddammit! Or rather: Julia wanted pizza. Hahaha. The first two times I think she called them (after one hour, and after one and a half hours). Unfortunately, the letter T doesn't seem to be in the alphabet of the people working at Domino's in Geneva, and very unfortunately for us, both Julia's last name AND the name of her street begin with a letter T. "Non, c'est un TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT !!!!".
The third and fourth time, Julia made me call them (those blatant liars! The first two times they said they got the order, and that the pizza was on the way, the other two times they said they didn't get the order and that they didn't have enough deliery guys). So there I went, experiencing a very efficient and demanding Carissa (maybe to Julia's surprise? haha), asking for better customer service! Plus, it could have been the francophone version of a spelling bee, "version pour les nuls" or so, because it went like this: "T comme Théodore! I comme Ile! L comme Luxembourg! L comme Luxembourg! E comme Europe! U comme Union!" etc. In the end, the store manager delivered the pizza himself, I guess they were that pissed off, as were we! All in all, it was hilarious. We only paid half the price in the end (I still think we should have gotten it for free though). And Julia had her garlic bread on the side and was happy :-)
